How to Upscale an Image for Free
A small or low-resolution photo can look soft or pixelated once it's enlarged. AI upscaling rebuilds the missing detail rather than just stretching the pixels, so the result holds up much better at a larger size.
How it works
- Go to PixForge and select the Upscale tab.
- Upload the image you want enlarged (PNG, JPEG, or WEBP, up to 10MB).
- Run the upscale — no prompt needed for this mode.
- Download the higher-resolution result.
When upscaling helps
- Old or low-res photos you want to print or display larger.
- Small product or listing images that need to look sharp at a bigger size.
- Screenshots or compressed images that have lost detail.
What to expect
AI upscaling is very good at sharpening detail and reducing blur, but it's rebuilding information that isn't in the original file — extremely low-quality or heavily compressed source images will still show some limits. Starting from the best-quality version of a photo you have will always give the cleanest result.
Frequently asked questions

Yes — your first generation each day is free, with more available via a short ad or a small credit pack.
Will it fix a very blurry photo?
It will sharpen and enlarge it, but it can't recover detail that was never captured in the original shot.
