Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PixForge (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Using the Service

PixForge lets you edit photos, generate images, remove backgrounds, and upscale images using AI. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for any photos you upload and for making sure you have the right to use and edit them. Don't upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or depicts real people without their consent.

AI-generated results

Results are generated using third-party AI models. Outputs can be unpredictable and are provided "as is" — we don't guarantee any particular result, accuracy, or quality. You're responsible for how you use generated images.

Content moderation

We monitor and restrict the generation of illegal or rights-infringing content, including deepfakes of real people created without their consent, content that infringes someone else's intellectual property, and content intended to harass, deceive, or harm others. Attempts to create this kind of content may result in blocked outputs, account suspension, or permanent termination of access, at our discretion.

Free usage and ads

PixForge offers a limited number of free generations. Additional free generations may require watching ads, subject to daily limits that reset on a rolling basis. We may change the free-usage limits or ad requirements at any time.

Paid purchases and refunds

PixForge offers optional one-time purchases of additional generations, processed securely through Stripe. Purchased generations are tied to your device. We don't store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe.

If something goes wrong with a purchase — for example, a payment was taken but credits weren't added to your device — contact us via the Contact page and we'll look into it. Beyond that, refunds are considered at our discretion, and are more likely to be granted for a first purchase reported soon after buying and before the credits have been substantially used. This doesn't affect any statutory refund rights you have under UK consumer law, which we'll always honour regardless of what's written here.

Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to bypass, manipulate, or abuse the Service's usage limits, ad requirements, or payment system, or to use the Service to generate unlawful, abusive, or harmful content. We may suspend or block access for violations of these terms.

Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixForge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or generated content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
